and the Lorenzo City Administrator with the primary phone on the
plan belonging to the Lorenzo Police Department.

that the City Council approve Resolution No. 01-01-01 (A Resolution

that the City allow Eric Mount permission to pursue a Fire Department
Emergency Program grant for additional equipment needs, including
the City of Lorenzo's willingness to participate in the program
if low interest loans are necessary to complete the project and
are combined with the grant.

B. Aaron Arthur presented proposed changes to Chapter 2 (Animal
Control) of the Lorenzo Code of Ordinances.
The Council took no action on the issue requesting more information
be made available for further evaluation.
C. Vera Thomas addressed the council regarding problems she was
having with neighborhood dogs. Several guests also discussed the
issue.
The Council took no action on the issue referring to the need
for more information on proposed Animal Control Ordinance changes.
D. MOTION by Councilman Woodard and seconded by Councilwoman McNabb
that the City Council accept the resignation of Councilman Joe
DeLeon effective February 15th, 2001, due to the fact that his
family is relocating to New Mexico.

E. MOTION by Councilwoman Curbo seconded by Councilman Woodard
Calling for the Order of Council Elections. (The order is attached

the center pivot used for wastewater discharge.

Code of Ordinances. After much discussion, Councilman Woodard
requested that City Administrator Mike Cypert conduct a public
survey to get better input by the community how the citizens of
Lorenzo feel on the issue. A report on this survey is requested
to be presented to the Council in the Regular May meeting.
B. MOTION by Councilwoman Curbo and seconded by Councilman Woodard
that the City Council accept that the Council adapt the 2001 -
2002 budget as presented.

in the city for effective control.

of Human Services under the terms set forth by the General Services
Commission, as original building will allow or as is mutually
agreeable between both parties.

B. MOTION by Councilman Woodard and seconded by Councilman Mount
that the City of Lorenzo enter into a lease arrangement of city
property located East of Lincoln Ave. (lake) with Billy McClaran
Jr. as offered by him in a letter to the City of Lorenzo dated
June 27th, 2001, if allowable by TNRCC.

C. Mike Cypert, City Administrator discussed the costs and needs
of installing Variable Frequency Drives to the Water Booster Station.
After discussion, Council suggested continuing research on costs
and cost savings to the City of Lorenzo with an action date later
in the year, as the annual budget will allow.

Rate of $.5163 per $100.00 valuation of taxable values for the

operation and maintenance of the functions of the City government
for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2001 and ending March 31,
2002.

the City of Lorenzo is sponsoring a Cotton Kings Game January
12 and that $10 tickets are available on a limited basis for this
